This may end up being a silly question but is there any way to turn a gloss paint into a flat paint? I bought a paint kit that ended up having a few glosses in it that I was going to try to use. Any help would be awesome.

Are you planning on varnishing the model when you're done? That's the easiest way.

Is there a varnish/sealing material that will turn it matte?

Yes. Spray with matte varnish when you're done and the whole model will be matte.
