I have been messing around trying to find a competitive option for Necrons. I think this one could be cool. There is a lot that is going to be in their face from the beginning. Assuming I don't roll myself into Oblivion I think this could work.

The only thing I worry about would be Guard tank gunline as I seem to have terrible luck against them and they absolutely eat DDA's.

Your list only has 5 CP, which is not much. Sentry pylon and tomb sentinel arent competitive models. You need 12 or 18 destroyers or 3 DDAs if you want to be competitive.

I'd consider a core of Warriors in form of a battalion instead of Scarabs.
