Hi all,

I use Azrael and one of the dark angels warlord traits is that I can re-roll 1 armour save, hit roll or round roll per game. My question is can I use this ability on allies? I use assassins so can I Use my warlord trait to let my assassins use the re-roll? The codex doesn't say dark angels only.

If the codex doesn't say Dark Angels only, why would you think it is? The WLT allows any roll, not just one made by a Dark Angels unit.

I had a game yesterday and my opponent said it was faq do warlord traits only affect the codex not alies.

Next time ask him to show you that FAQ because (to my knowledge) that's a bunch of nonsense.

Yup same as Grand Strategist for Imperial Guard. Doesn't say explicitly for the warlord or guard, it can be used for any.
