Hi,

Im working on a desert/beige color scheme for my necrons and I found a scheme that I instantly fell in love with.
The problem is recreating whats in the picture.

There is actually a list of paints used but I cant see them working tbh.

The paints used in the picture for the armor parts is apparently: xv-88 base, agrax shade and a drybrush of karak stone. I just can't see this perticular selection yielding those resaults.
Any suggestions?

I think the wash may have been very light/watered down on the surface and mostly used shade the recesses. Where you can see the XV-88 base it doesn't look like it's been noticeably tinted darker.

Similarly, I think Karak Stone was deliberately drybrushed on lightly to allow the XV-88 to shine through, with a heavier focus on the edges to get some highlights.

That's how I'd try to recreate this with the colors you list. If you want to use more solid colors, you could put a layer of Zandri Dust over the washed base. You would get a darker beige as the obvious main color but because of the coverage would probably lose a bit of the brown hue you get by using XV-88.

Nehekhara lives! Sort of!
Why is the rum always gone?

Consider also this:

XV-88 base
Light drybrush with Karak Stone
Agrax shade wash, with Lahmian Medium to break surface tension, allowing the wash to focus primarly on just recesses with only light tinting to surface areas. The wash also knocks back some of the harshness of the Karak Stone drybrush.
