In an effort to motivate my painting, I'm going to try posting progress here. Be gentle with critiques, I have a nerve disorder that causes tremors. So there is quite a bit of paint, then paint over mistakes, then paint over new mistakes. These are all work in progress.

First, no paint as of yet, the new plastic Ragnar Blackmane. Yes I shamelessly ripped off this idea from whomever came up with it first. Thank you very much.

Its no secret, I love Space Wolves. But hate how they have become wolf wolf wolf. I hate that they are now actual werewolves and not Space Vikings. So in that thought I decided that they needed Berserkers, and not Wulfen. This is what I came up with. Keep in mind these were all converted from Primaris Easy build Intercessors. So if they all seem to have the same general pose... well that is why.





They are armed with Frost Greatswords and Stormshields/Stormbucklers. I have two Wolf Guard with twin Lightning Claws to lead them. (As for some stupid reason GW insists Wulfen leaders must use Frost Claws). I really like the idea that Primaris Squads would still get Wolf Guard attached to them. Its one of the reasons I think the current Codex is a miss.

Also I don't like baby blue and much prefer Grey.

Nice work chap, I’m with you on the darker grey, can I ask where those shields are from. They fit perfectly with the knot work on the fronts.

Thank you, they are from GW Dwarven Ironbreakers. I really liked the knotwork. Can't make it come out nearly as nice as I'd like though.

How did you paint them bud. Black all over then added the gold I’m guessing. You could try painting the shield gold all over then add the black after.
