Subject: [2000] - Ulthwe + Frozen Stars - Local ITC Tournament List Help
Alright I know I posted a similar list before but the local tournament coming up is 2000pts and the list before was 1750pts. I know shining spears and Haywire bikes would be the best options to add but I don't have any of those yet so I decided to add some fire dragons for more anti-tank and a solitaire. The DA's will spread out and hold back objectives plus add some area denial instead of float around in the serpent.
Troops
2x 4 Dire Avengers + Exarch with 2 avenger catapaults
18 Guardian Defenders with Star Cannon (deepstriking)
Elites
6x Fire dragons + Exarch with Fusion gun
Flyer
1x Hemlock Wraithfighter - Protect/Jinx
Transports
1x Triple Cannon Wave Serpents
Harlequins Battalion:
Mask : Frozen Stars (+1 attack on charge)
HQ Shadowseer - Staff, Shuri Pistol, Mirror Minds, Shards of Light, Player of the Twilight (love this trait)
Troupemaster - Caress, Fusion Pistol, (Starmist Raiment to shut down overwatch)
Troops
2x Troupe - 3 Embrace with 2 Fusion and 2 bare bones
1x Troupe - 3 Kiss with 2 Fusion and 2 bare bones (I like one squad of Kiss for attaching things like Primaris and other multi wound)

All comments are encouraged, just want to get better! This is my first tournament so I need all the help I can get since I lack experience. I know I'll for sure take the recon secondary mission, if i had 2 planes I'd take linebreaker and then just have them swap but I only have one so idk if its worth it since I'll only get points for it turn 2 and later. The other will be based off the enemies list.

Well, its not terribly bad.
There are two schools about taking DA as a small or full unit.
Small DA units will struggle to stay alive once targeted and their damage output is a bit limited.
How do plan with the FDs? They should go into the Serpent.
But then 2 squads of 5 would be better.

Yeah, ik DAs are the greatest but I don't have any rangers and I need to fill up the troops spots in the battalion, and I only have 8 fire dragons unfortunately :( Putting the DAs in the wave serpent was the original idea but idk what to do with the extra points, I have a fire prism/deathspinner, some wraithlords and wraithguard/blades
