Basic List as it stands, but could use some feedback. It's not a competitive list for tournaments, but i'd like it to be a fun and at least decent list for competitive friendlies.
Alpha Legion Detachment
Daemon Prince - Wings, Malefic Talons, Sword, Intoxicating Elixir
Chaos lord - Jump Pack, Blade of the Hydra, Plasma Pistol
Sorcerer - Jump Pack, Force Stave, Combi-Bolter
Cultists x 30 - 27 Autoguns, 3 Heavy Stubbers (Or flamers?)
Obliterator Squad
Maulerfiend - Mauler Fists, Lasher Tendrils
Hellforged Predator - Infernal Flamestorm Cannon, 2x Heavy Flamer, Havoc Launcher, Infernal hunger
Hellforged Contemptor - Chainclaw, Soulburner, Butcher Cannon
Daemons Detachment
Daemon Prince - Wings, Malefic Talons, Skullreaver Axe
Karanak
Flamers of Tzeentch x6
Nurglings x3
Nurglings x3
Nurglings x3
Total = 1854 points
The Cultist blob will be infiltrated, along with maybe the Sorcerer or the Lord (or both, I would have enough CP for it). The Flamers would be put into the Warp, so they can be used much like the Obliterators, to deepstrike when needed but for anti-infantry instead of anti-elite/tank. Nurglings will be my screen, while cultists will be a turn1 distraction and hopefully put out some wounds. Could fire twice with them, prescience, or save CP for tide of traitors.
I don't have redundancy with identical units (cos I'd prefer to build and paint a variety of units), but I have redundancy in that instead of 3 identical dreadnoughts, I have a 'Fiend, a Dread, and a Tank, and 2 Princes, so I have a few high toughness units on the table.
Flamer Pred is more anti-infantry, getting into the enemy's face with fire. If they assault they have to get past a lot of flames, and then in assault the Pred had a fair few attacks (especially if it charges) and regenerates wounds.
The list has 9CP I believe (1+5+3) but could easily be 13CP if I add two MSU cultist squads to the Alpha detachment. That would take me up to 1950 points.
Not sure about the Flamers unit though. Though it's probably more points-efficient than the Flamer Predator.
Not sure how this would play on the table, but it should be quite a lot of fun to make and paint at least haha.
Edit: Oh, and Karanak is there as a cheap way to fill out the battalion. There might be a more efficient way to do things but I'm not sure... I did consider having both my Princes be the Daemons detachment, but then that means neither can give rerolls to Astartes units... but Oblits and Maulerfiend are daemons too so maybe it wouldn't matter as much?
Edit 2: if you recommend losing the predator, I'd have to replace it with a different tank, as I have a cool conversion idea for a tank so I'll have one tank in the list... But only one! Tricky I know.
