Subject: What are these bases used for?

I just got a lot of random miniature stuff. In the box was over 200 flexible rubber discs about as thick as a quarter and 7/8th of an inch in diameter(about 25mm). These things have a peel-off stick backing. My first thought was to base them up and stick them to GW bases of into WM bases. Turns out they are a bit large for that and would have to be trimmed down, probably resulting in a messy look if not a serious amount of blood loss. Does anyone have any idea what game system uses these things? If so I can trade them off.

Are they magnetic? If so, they may be meant for sticking to the bottom of an existing base for magnetized storage systems.

Not magnetic. I figured they are for some odd game that I am unaware of at the moment. The fact they came in packs of 100 is driving me crazy, it would have to be a game with lots of minis and probably pre-molded bases on the minis so you could just peel, put the mini on it and add basing material? If this is the case in't actually pretty neat, shame they don't work with any game system I know about.

Rubbery, but not magnetic, peel-and-stick discs. They may not be for minis at all, but intended to be stuck onto stuff to prevent things from sliding around on smooth surfaces.
