Considered War Walkers or Vypers as heavy weapon platforms? I know they're not the hotness in the present Craftworld meta, but in an environment where you're limited to one unit, the capacity to bring in a squadron of three is quite valuable.

I'll think about it, I have the models, but haven't used them at all in 8th. The squadron of 3 was a big seller in bringing talos. The only problem with adding war walkers is what to drop to bring them.

Nix the Crimson Hunter and the Mandrakes and you free 320 points. A trio of Bright Lance + Starcannon WWs is 255.

The mandrakes I have found very useful, could do without the Crimson Hunter though. The mortal wound output of 10 mandrakes (especially with Doom from the farseer) is pretty decent (3-4 Mortal Wounds depending on the target).

I like the list for a highlander style list. However a couple of points:

1) Find some points to get another haemonculus in the list, specifically so you can get the vexator mask. It is an insanely good relic (forces a unit within 6 to fight last). Put him in the with the talos' or grotesques and keep them with 5" of him to garauntee the ability to fight before anything scary.
2) I really like chain flails on Taloses. Gives them the ability to mulch hordes. 30 attacks that re-roll to wound at S6 with Urien around is no joke. The extra attack with 2 macro scalpels just isn't worth it.
3) I'd swap out one of the crimson hunters for a hemlock. This gets you a jinx or a restrain, plus some decent shooting and morale reduction. You're taking phantasm grenade launchers and a farseer (mind war) so you can get some mileage out of this.
4) Wracks are way better objective holders as they are just so much tougher than kabalites.

I'd do something like this:

Alaitoc Patrol
Farseer
Rangers
Hemlock
CHE

Prophets of flesh battalion
Urien (Warlord via Aliance of Agony Spend 1CP, then get back D3)
Haemonculus, Vexator Mask (-1 CP)
3x5 Wracks
5 Grotesques
3 Talos with Haywire, macro-scalpel and chain flails

Kabal of the Black Heart Patrol
Archon, huskblade, warlord, Labyrinthine Cunning, Writ of the Living muse
9 Kabalite warriors, one blaster
Raider, splinter racks and phantasm grenade launcher
Ravager with 3 disintegrators
Razorwing with 2 disintegrators

Not a bad suggestion. I'll play around with it, lets me drop Drazhar too. I can't take a Hemlock as I don't have one (not updated my CWE in a while) and don't have time to get it painted before the tournament. Another option I was thinking was to swap the Alaitoc Patrol for a Red Grief patrol and drop the Black Heart battalion down to a patrol (I lose one CP, but can drop 2 units of Kabalites and Drazhar). Would take a max squad of Reavers, obviously.

love dark eldar but can someone tell me what on earth a highlander list is?

Unless it's being led by Duncan or Connor Maceleod of the Clan Macleod shouting "there can be only one!"

Each non-Troop unit can only be taken once in the list.

I'd highly recommend keeping the Alaitoc Patrol. Eldar psykers are so good. If you don't want to/don't have the time to get a hemlock going, any chance you can get a spirit seer in there? The runes of battle powers are amazing, specifically jinx/protect and quicken/restrain.

If you were going to drop anything I'd drop the kabal of the black heart. While agents of vect can be game-winning, it also can bait you into using all of your cp's. A red grief patrol with reavers is interesting for tagging things early on in the game.
