If I cast Psychic Barrier on my Shadowsword in the psychic phase and then use the Take Cover strategem when he gets targeted in the shooting phase of the same turn will these two +1 to saves stack? Not sure how stacking works these days

Change the first sentence of this stratagem to read:
‘Use this Stratagem in your opponent’s Shooting phase when your opponent selects one of your Astra Militarum Infantry units as a target.’
You can put Psychic Barrier on him, but you can't "Take Cover".
Unbelievable how people still don't know/ignore the FAQs.
That combo works on infantry just fine. You can give bullgryns with shield either a 2+ sv with +2 to your rolls or a 4+ invsv with +2 to the roll. Depending on what kind of shield you use.
