I predict GW will try to remove dinecast models and replace with plastic for most of 2019.
I've seen this same prediction every year for the last 5 years.
Not a prediction, its a fact. I had a few members of head office come down to my store every so often and one of the product line guys had saidt o me that the idea was to remove metals and replace everything apart from a few characters, with plastic kits. FC replaced metals but the plan is still in place as far as im aware. It was a specific goal they had which was relayed to each store along with a number of other changes/goals in the weekly newsletter.
Also, new Saanesh!!! Huzzah!!

I'm not going to re-read the lunacy that is the last few pages of this thread, but I'd be very surprised if anyone actually said that. Even that one guy banging on about how relatively difficult it might be for an Inquisitor to acquire power armour, I don't think even that guy said that.
Fingers crossed these are indeed Fiends (and not just a brand new unit, although a dual kit would be fine) and that the release also includes a plastic Keeper. AFAIK, that would be all Daemons now in glorious plastic.

Looks like a similar "multiple units on the same sprue" as other starter sets.
Nice to see they haven't toned anything down
Note: The following video link is from Nova Open, it is not new.
Spoiler:
Wrath and Rapture was confirmed then as a Khorne v. Slaanesh thing. We're supposed to see a few new kits in there. I can't imagine it will be multiple units on the same sprue like a proper starter set, since it's supposed to be repackaged content mixed with new content.
Sure hope they go the androgynous weird way rather than the boobtastic pinup-with-crab-hands way.

Why does it have to be either extreme? Daemonettes are supposed to be alluring at a distance, but dangerous up close. The current plastics get closer to this than the 2 previous metal versions, but they still have too much of the "Bilbo/Gollum" scary face that you're only supposes to see up close.
I'd like to see some models a bit more on the "alluring" side for a change.
I'm hoping for a bit more new stuff than we've seen in these recent big box sets. Naturally both sides will get something new, ideally with at least a new character model as well as a new unit.
Or just make everything new. The fact that these are the first new Slaanesh models in how many years guarantees these are going to sell.
Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

People are often sent sprues early either for review (youtube channels for example) or to paint (ex GD winners for example).
This looks like one of those instances as they have already started assembly.
Sadly GW keep a record of everybody they send stuff to and normally you have to sign an NDA. I hope this doesn't stop them from sending out review copies due to leaks.

Agreed, and that goes double for Seekers. The fact that Khorne cavalry of all things is more dynamic than Slaaneshi models is just sad.
While I'm not a fan of the much lauded Diaz Daemonettes, I do think GW also did Slaaneshi models a disservice by completely neglecting the part where they are supposed to be alluring and focuses entirely on the weirder aspects instead of aiming for a blend of the two. Shame the basic models are already plastic and won't get redone because of that.
Nehekhara lives! Sort of!
Why is the rum always gone?

There have been plastic models that have been updated, just not very often and usually only for the most popular of kits. That said, I doubt we'll see Daemonettes updated as they are. The style of the Daemonettes is pretty much the current core of Slaanesh design philosophy and has been brought into the Seekers and the Chariots, and now into these new Fiends or whatever they happen to be.
Either way, the Daemonettes are just the core troops. The allure comes from the graceful curves of the models, the long limbs, the androgynous body parts. They add the weirdness in because, well, they're daemons. They're not human. When they interact with humans, they often cast an illusion over themselves to better manipulate and corrupt. When it comes to all out war, which is what these models represent, they have little need for seducing soldiers in trenches or Space Marines when they have bolter and flamer aiming at them.
But yeah, I'm pretty excited for these new models.

BoLS said it was squatted. Now they might’ve had the flimsiest of evidence, but that website certainly wouldn’t just post for the clicks.
Likewise, that sprue has Pink Nosed Puppies On Parade. And everyone knows that GW are ditching that from Slaaneshi stuff. Stripping out all the Bishop’s Mitres, whether Oomlaaters, Zeppelins or Spaniel’s Ears. Even Roofer’s Nailbags.
Fake news, fake news.

The legs of the Fiends aren’t anywhere to be seen.
Looks like someone gave up part way through. Or potentially yoinked it. Or someone is running an eBay scam.
I’m not saying any of the above are true, or making an inference. Just that obvious parts aren’t in sight, and may account for the holes in the sprues.

CAPTAIN OBVIOUS REPORTING FOR DUTY!
With Slaaneshi stuff clearly confirmed, it probably is Fulgrim in the other rumour engine pics.
