This will be sorta a blog i guess i'm going to post pics of my finished minis as well as WIP photos of ongoing projects. Comments and CC welcome. Posting will be on an irregular basis as the internet where i live isn't the best.
To start things off here is a side by side comparison of two commissars i painted years apart. The one on the left was one of the first character figures i attempted painting. I went a little overboard on the nul oil and i didn't shake the pot which resulted in a somewhat glossy finish (oops) The one on the right I completed a few months ago, and after looking at the old one I tried washing as little as possible and created much crisper colors.
Both are painted to match the rest of my IG which have blue pants, grey shirts and "rust" red armor. I will try and throw up some pictures of them later
My IG are at about 2000 points all together I think, I haven’t meticulously added em up in a while I tend to model them how I think looks coolest which often involves high costed equipment like plasma. I have about 3 squads of guardsmen a squad of melts vets 2 command squads a leman Russ with twin auto cannons and another with the nova cannon as well as a few chimerias I’ll try and post pics when I can but most of them aren’t completely painted yet
