Hi Folks!

Over the years I've amassed various minis that aren't enough for armies, and the Kill Team rules are a great option for banding them together.
I've always loved Tyranids, and had some mixed older models so I decided to start there. I also recently learned a new trick for making slime, soo....

Here we are, Tyranid Kill Team 'Blue Goo' (I need a better name) scuttling through the air vents and walkways of a space hulk.

C&C and suggestions are much appreciated!

Looks good. Your blue has a nice glow to it. I'm really curious how you did the slime? It's a very nice effect and I want to steal it.

Looks amazing. Even that termagant that has slime coming out of his bum.

It's not his bum!
They have glowy vent hole things on their tails.

Thanks for the kind words I'll get a tutorial up on my slime method soon, for any interested

I was not set on my colour scheme so I actually made two kill teams. This one has greeeeeeen slime, and shiny black. Based on Alien (the movie).

I'm personally more keen on the blue, so this second team is on eBay at present.

I'm heinously indecisive, and tried a different scheme.

Okay, two more, but this one became a full kill team.

Purpley ones!
Personally I prefer the blue, so these guys are on eBay.
Also in the pipeline is a test of the original blue-black-grey scheme but with orange instead.

they look amazing with the slime! i will try it on my nids (and probably add it on alot of my models!) My nids are black and yellow so yellow slime will do the trick i think but i find your grey-blue scheme stunning! I'm jealous i didn't have that cool idea..

btw, if you are still looking for a name, check this list https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_theological_demons
all the hive fleets in the books are named after demons so look for a name you like and you stay in the same style.
I do not like names for hivefleets who go to far away from that theme, like hive fleet "speehce mehrine killas" and "angry bugs" next to hive fleet behemoth and or kraken.

Dakka is the ork word for shooting, but the ork concept of shooting is saturation fire. Just as there is no such thing as a "miss" in a target-rich environment, there is no such thing as a "dodge" in a bullet rich one

Oops!

Thought I'd posted the pink tester already - guess not

Thanks wally, I'll have a browse through the demons and see if anything appeals.
I'd probly do a few practises at making yellow slime before doing it to any of your models! It could come out very odd looking (horde of termagants peeing as they flee the space maurines?)

The pink's glorious but the blue's the best, imho. Nice work.
