Played my first game of 40k 8th edition the other day and I was using Deathwatch.

Question 1 - if I supercharge plasma and am in a re roll aura of a captain or watch master allowing me to reroll hit rolls and I then roll a 1 to hit with the plasma weapon can I reroll that and stop the model from being slain?

Question 2 - watch master specifies friendly Deathwatch models can re roll to hit rolls. Does that mean I can also re roll hits in close combat?

Yes to both questions.

1: Yes, remember however that if your Plasma dude is at -1 to hit, you won't be able to re-roll the 2, which will still kill him.

2: Yes, all hits.

1. Yes, but the dice can ever be rerolled once.
2. If the rule does not specify, shooting or Fight phase, it allows all hits.
