Hello all,

I love a bit of Bloodbowl, with not as much time these days hopefully I’ll be able to finish a team or two. I’m hoping to get into table top so the first team I’ll be making is a Bretonnian one.

I thought a bit of kit bashing with Men at Arms and a human Team would be okay - very wrong, the scale is all over the place. I’ve finished the structure work of the 4 blockers but they need a lot of green stuff work yet -

Mortis Knight Wings.

I’ve cut a lot of the human uniform away, and wittled down some empire knight heads, hopefully they’ll look a lot more Bretonniany after the green stuff. I’ve had to reposition the arms and bodies because they looked very unnatural to me.

Cheers.

The ruins of the Palace of Thorns

Interesting start. The shields give them a different aesthetic to normal, I think.

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.

Bretonnians still work in progress, but I’ve decided to try and get a chaos dwarf team finished first because they’ll be a lot less work. Pretty much finished the hard work of getting hobgoblins to look the way I want, sneak peek below, picture isn’t great but you get the idea.

Cheers

Hello again all,

Continued work on the team, I’ve completed the structural work on the Chaos Dwarves and 2 mutants, I’m using forgeworld Legion of Azgorh models as I’m going for a more Blood bowl 2 look. With only 2 variants I’ve tried to make them all look different with some work on the hands and remodelled beards. Pics.

I’ve also put together 2 mutants, mainly just claws but I’ve tried to make them a bit more freaky. Pics

They all still need some green stuff work to plug a few gaps and number plates on the back.

Next up - figuring out the bull centaurs.

Cheers

Morning all,

Spent last night de-Furing 2 boars... didn’t think I’d ever have to say that! Completed the structure work on my idea for the bull centaurs, the orc boars seem chunky enough to be the right size, I looked at old bull centaur eBay prices, far too much.

Like the rest of the team, still need green stuff work pics-

Sorry about picture quality, just with the iPad, once they’re further on I’ll get out the camera.

Cheers.

I'm liking those hobgoblins, always cool to see Grot heads on alternate bodies! The dwarves seem to be comin along nicely as well, hopefully they'll get some paint on soon!

Thanks mcmattila, I’m finishing off all the building work before I throw some paint at them. Still need to fill some green stuff gaps, add number plates, make the Minotaur and still deciding if to add face cages to the hobos.

Morning all, completed all the modelling work, and the team has been sprayed and ready for painting!

Finished the Minotaur and the bull centaurs, not 100% happy with them but good enough. Wasn’t going to make a Minotaur to be honest but I picked this up off eBay which turned out to be a fairly poor recast, so I cut him to bits. Pics -

Cheers.
