The Oblits are kinda dated, and I’d like to add some to my army. Anyone know of any good alternatives?

Here’s the current sculpt

I've seen plenty of conversions for Obliterators online. Check out KrautScientist and Biohazard, I think they have both made fantastic versions.

If I were to run some I'd definitely go down the conversion route as I don't like the GW models.

These are good, but a friend of mine has them and they're diddy. They're clearly "based" on Termies and not the hulking brutes that the modern Oblits are.

Better option would be to base them on Centurions or Agressors.

What gives a massive improvement to the current Oblit models is to make their legs upright rather than squatting.

Like so-

I've seen some converted from SM centurions. Would require some work but should work well.

I used the new death guard terminator bodies as the base for my Obliterators. They’re big and bulky, have a bunch of fleshy mutant bits, and are mostly free of Nurgle iconography.

what about using primaries aggressors as a base and using greensuff and what ever guns you have in the bits box to convert them? it would be a fairly easy sculpt as you wouldn't need straight lines
