Hoping someone can help me out here. I got this book when it was released the other week, but i’m still reading other stuff at the moment and so haven’t started it. I was browsing Amazon today looking at more books when I noticed that it had a 1 star rating. Curious I checked the reviews and found they said it’s missing parts, such as something about an ork ambassador. Has anyone that’s familiar with it got a copy and has noticed their’s is missing parts, or someone who could point me to the chapter where the Ork ambassador comes? It looks like the book has been pulled from the black library site as well for physical copies which supports what those reviewers said. I’m kinda hoping they’re just trolling because it’s high up on my list of books to read.

To be fair, although it is a very cool scene, the Ork ambasador bit doesn't really advance the narrative. I can understand why an editor might cut it.

However, I would humbly suggest that the entire Eldar involvement in book 5 be cut instead for being utterly rubbish and nonsensical!

Its possible that they cut it because of word count and added it to the next anthology?

It should definitely be in that Anthology 1, as it happens at the end of The Last Wall. Pretty strange to cut it, as it was a great scene.

The reviews say it’s the People’s Crusade and Ork Ambassador that’s missing.

Not sure how true it is, but they reckon it’s going to be reprinted in its entirety and was pulled from the BL store because stuff was missed in error.

yeah that sounds like it's missing half a book if it's missing that too.

I'd see if other purchasers can confirm this since I doubt the anthology would be Abridged. GW doesn't make the habit of doing that.

The word is "that the first Omnibus of The Beast Arises was mistakenly printed with Throneworld instead of The Last Wall" (Throneworld being #5, The Last Wall #4).

I can confirm mine has book 5 instead of book 4. I think I can see how it’s happened as well. The first chapter of book 5 is called “The Last Wall Gathers”

I’ve just downloaded the kindle samples to check.

Glad I didn't order the anthology then. I bought the e-books, but I don't enjoy reading on my phone so I was going to get them in paperback.
