Hello all.
I'm painting a Charybdis mini from Mythic Battles: Pantheon and am wanting to put some Still Water in the centre of it. I'm also going to use a gloss varnish to give it a wet appearance as the mini looks as if it's just breaking through the water.
My question is do I varnish the mini and then put in the water effect, or do I put in the water effect and then varnish? If I varnish over the top of the water effect I'm thinking that the entire model will have a consistent shine, but I'm afraid that varnishing over the water effect might cause frosting.
Any thoughts on this?
