Hello! This has probably been asked a million times, but I am about to play in my first tournament today so I want to be sure I get this correct. If I have an eligible unit that gets hit with mortal wounds can I pass all of those off to a single drone?

An example would be if I have a unit that is hit by Hellfire Shells which if they hit they automatically do d3 mortal wounds. Would I be able to use Savior Protocols to take on those wounds?

Another example would be when something hits and does damage with additional mortal wounds added on. Can a drone to the regular wounds and another one take the extra mortal wounds? Thanks!

Each mortal wound counts as a single hit, which means your Shields have to deal with one mortal wound at a time. You transfer the mortal wounds off to your Shield Drones, which can make their special save against each wound.

The upside is the origin target takes no Wounds, the downside is that you probably will lose the Shield Drone(s). But that’s what they are for.

While Saviour Protocols can allow drones to turn a single multi-damage wound into a single mortal wound, Mortal Wounds themselves are always single damage, so you must roll to intercept them individually.
