Here is a hard to kill, do lots of damage, low deployment count, necron list. Everything (except the cryptek) is T5 multiwound. Tomb blades are -1 to hit and have 27 S6 AP-1 shots at 12" from mephrit. No cover for the opponent with nebuloscope. Wraits alos get AP-1 with their particle caster. Destroyers use EP to kill whatever there is. Tomb blades and destroyers get +1 to RP from the cryptek. Wraiths can also reanimate for 2 CP. Everything can fly, so it cant be tied up in melee, and can still shoot after falling back.

I said it before and I'll say it again, Mephrit is a trap. It looks great on paper, but in reality it forces you to get too close to your opponent.

Tomb Blades should be holding their foes at arm's length.

I'd switch to Nephekh for that guaranteed advance of 6. You can also hide the destroyers off board if you need to.

Other than that, it's an interesting list. Some hard counters to it would be infantry spam or a knight, but it should do well enough.

Even though I agree Mephrit is a trap. In smaller point games, i honestly dont think its too bad of a trade off.

That said, with your list, i would still feel Nephekh would be more beneficial, as your tomb blades are the only ones who really benefit from Mephrit

I agree with mephrit on footslogging infantry not being good, but its fine with flying infantry. Nephrekh could work as well with this list.

Think for mephrit would take the destroyers out and one tomb blade, and add in two doomsdays for a patrol detachment.

for loss of one cp, you get access to better anti tank. and 40 gauss shots at close range with -2ap

I don't like highly random units for lots of points. Destroyers are much more reliable.

Reliable yes, but as it stands you have very little to deal with T8 vehicles, especially a knight. Personally, I don't think you should swap as Necrons don't get enough for their pts as it is, but DDA is something to consider in the knight heavy meta.

As it is, I'd switch to Nephrekh and call it a day. Let us know how it gets on.

Extermination protocols works well against any target, regardless of toughness. I dont expect many knights at 1k.

Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high

Lets talk Dynasty.

Sautehk - No benefit to this list
Mephrit - Benefit at short range for beamers and destroyers, does not help melee
Nephrehk - Allows Adaptive Subroutines Benefit for T1 Wraith Charge, slight benefit to TBs, allows deep strike for destroyers, but you can't afford to not have their firepower early.
Nihilak - Pass, You want mobility.
Novok - Big buff to wraiths, slight buff to everything else.

You will struggle with objectives, and your placement of your wraiths and destroyers will make or break your games. If the wraiths get focused instead of destroyers you have a shot. Without the destroyers I think this kind of falls apart some.
Smite spam in particular will be hard to handle without a screen.

Nephrekh, novokh and mephrit are the best choices. A unit can hold multiple objectives, TBs stretched to a 27" line can hold three objectives. Smite spam could be a problem, but i dont think i will face 10 psykers at 1k.
