My old, metal Avatar of Khaine is jealous of Ynnaed’s swirly magic stuff and wants some swirly fire of his own.
Can anyone recommend models with decent fire effects that I could cannibalise, because I really don’t want to try and scratch build that sort of thing.

Also, if anyone has some good tips on painting flame effects, I would be grateful!

I'd just poke around GW's website and then look for bits on eBay --- so many GW items lately have fallen to the "swirling smoke" stuff...should be plenty out there. I'd also imagine plenty of resin 3rd parties do them.
