Is it possible to use staff from index? I saw here some lists using hg from index instead of codex, how does it work?

Read the designers commentary last page.

The final page of the Designers Commentary explains how to use the index with the codex.

Basically you can use wargear options (and ONLY wargear options) from the index with a codex unit, and units without a codex unit use the wholesale index entry, warts and all.

Ok, so for example if I want to use a big mek on warbike i can pick it from index and it has all the index rules, so no dakka dakka nor speed freek ability?
But I can use it as a detachment hq and he gain all the rules of klan?

Correct. It has ALL the index rules. That means no Dakka! Dakka! Dakka! (yet, we don't know if GW will errata this) and no Speed Freek keyword, but it still has <CLAN> so will benefit from a Kultur if you qualify for it.

Is this the only way to get a warboss on a bike?

Since Warboss on Bike doesn't have a Codex datasheet, you use the Index datasheet whole-cloth. That means you don't get DakkaDakkaDakka etc.

Unless you want the named Forge World warboss on a bike. For some reason they gave us the warboss on a trike in the new Ork Codex but didn't want to also include the option for a Warboss on a bike.

No Model, No Rules. GW don't sell a "Warboss on Bike" model and don't want 3rd parties to fill in the gap so they cut off their own nose to spite their face. It's why we have Primaris marines and the Trike and the new buggies and 90% of the new Nurgle Stuff. GW need Copywritable things to replace the generic models. Eventually GW will phase out their older line and replace it with fully protectable new models with Adjective VerbNoun names.

The Deffkilla Wartrike is essentially the souped-up replacement for the Warboss on bike.

Well in fairness to GW I play the game but have not purchased any new ork vehicles since 94. These are my buggies warbike and wartracks. I did get trukks from my gorka morka set also.
