I screwed up while assembling the Dark Imperium inceptors, attaching the hood before the head, and now I can't get the helmets in. Any solutions you guys can think of?

Update: I've managed to attach the heads by shortening hte hoods a little and cutting off the bottom part of the little stalk that goes into the hole. Tha tallowed me to get the heads into the hood and fit them into their positions snugly.
