So I'm looking for a nice collapsible display board for when I'm playing 40K @ my FLGS and I was hoping for your help. I know Frontline Gaming makes what appears to be a good display but what other people sell nice ones and are there better ones?

What do you mean by a display board? Are you looking for background boards that go behind models... or terrain to put your models on for display or playing?

Check out http://battleboards.co.uk/ where you can find some backdrops and boards of various sizes.

Also searching online for terms like Battlemats, G-Mats, etc will find a few suppliers and vendors.

You can make one using stuff found at Lowe's or Home Depot. You'll need a jigsaw or some other device to cut wood. When I made mine last year it only cost me about $25 and a few hours to make it. Even had my kids get in on the putty action, it was quite fun.

I presume he means this:

I don't think I've seen anything else like that marketed specifically for wargames miniatures; I'd be looking for a decent tea tray in the homeware department.

That looks like a shallow drawer; you can get some strong cardboard similar at local comic shops, or use tupper ware storage trays that will fit your needs. If you’re looking for something scenic, you’ll probably have to DIY.

Edit: just took a look at battle boards, 1500+ UK for a 2x2 with terrain, ridiculous over priced imo. It’s for celebrity gamers that can throw money away.
