Noticed that they updated the point cost for the index units Skorchas, Warbuggies and Wartrakks. A bit strange that the price for the Biker-boss went up thou.

regarding Deffdreads so have they worked fine for me.
I teleport 3 with 1 Kustom mega-blasta (index option) and the rest CC each and have them DEATHSKULLS. Very good use for the kulture in both shooting and CC.

Hi
Back to the game after half a year break!
Good news that Flashgitz got a point reduction, I really like the miniatures!
I got 10 of them, how would you suggest is the best way to field them?
- One big squad or two small?
- On foot with grot shield or in a trukk/ BW?
- Is it worth to include KAPTIN BADRUKK for 10 Flashgitz?
I also intend to have a few FREEBOOTERZ smash kannons to trigger the COMPETITIVE STREAK

Now I am not a veteran player, but I think it rather hard to handle a multiple unit grot shield then it comes to placement and moment.
Since one model have to be close to the unit it is supposed to protect I see no other option than to weave the different (grot) unites if they also should be closer all threats. This in turn makes it almost impossible to move. Also, very hard to distinguish what unit each model belongs to. So far I have used 3 units and it makes a mess.
Any suggestion on this?

I am thinking of puting my mek guns on round bases without additional crew since they are not having any meaning without making the footprint larger. What do you think of this? What base size do you recommend?

Casual area you should be fine. On competive play could get called for modeling for advantage as crew models are negative to gun even beyond base size.

Regarding the Mek Gun, I am rather sure I saw on this forum that they increased 2 points in CA19 (in a summary before the book was released), but recently I saw a screenshot of CA19 there they still cost 15. What is correct?

Now then Burnas got a prize reduction, I have been thinking on running them inside a Chinork Warkopta. They have a formidable threat range of 30’’ with there flamer. Appreciate if someone can give me some comments on this!

Okay, seems like storm boyz are a valid option after all.
I do have another question that I would be happy if you can give me some feedback on. I am just about to re-base all my ork figures to 30mm bases and plan to magnetize them and make moment trays to them. The thing I am would like to have some input on is whether I should put them in a hexagonal lattice or a rectangular one. Rectangular is easier to build but hexagonal have the advantage to be denser but foremost it would in theory allow models to fight in three rows in CC due to the 3:ed row is just within 1’’ of the 1:st for 30mm bases. I it standard to allow models to fight in CC in three rows for 30mm bases, placed in an hexagonal lattice ,or would people accuse me of sheeting if I claim this?

A while ago I asked what base to use for Mek Gunz and I ended up using 100mm round ones. I must say I am happy how they look, but 18 of them does have a considerably big footprint...

There are roughly $5000.00 of mek gunz in this picture.
You might have one zero to much there but that's why I scarp-built them (except from two).

A red GORKANAUT with ORKYMATIC PISTONS and DEFFKILLA WARTRIKE support would have a fair chance of getting into CC the first turn.
8''+3''(ORKYMATIC PISTONS)+3''(EVIL SUNZ; 1'' on Move characteristic, 1'' on advance and 1'' on charge) +1d6'' with re-roll on advance and 2d6'' with re-roll on charge and the option of RAMMING SPEED stratagem.

Is there some way to make him play faster? Please do not say movement trays, because he has movement trays. If anything they make it slower because they keep not having the formations he wants and models keep falling down. He was playing 90 buys in 3 groups and was running da green tide stratagem on top of that. I have no idea how he takes this long!
Use chess clock. The ITC has rules for this.

If the Chinork Warkopta get the "Flyer" keyword, is it a valid strategy to use the FLYIN’ ’EADBUTT strat on it to get a first turn charge for the passengers?
