Bringing the new orks to an upcoming tournament. I love the lore behind Blood Axes so I came up with a list to utilize their strengths. I place the Deffkilla within the Warbikers bubble out of sight turn 1. If I get the first turn, I redeploy them with Kunnin' but brutal to get as close as possible. The Bonebreakas synchronize perfectly with the Deffkilla aura and Blood Axe clain trait. They are also each transporting a unit of Nobz and Weirdboy. If it blows up, the Nobz will loot it to get a 3+ armor save.

Your first Battalion is missing Troops. And an HQ. I'm guessing it's actually an Outrider Detachment?
Aside from that, looks like you got a fine mobilized Army going on. A bit concerned about the lack of good ranged options outside of the Koptas. They're not the toughest units to field.

@flandarz good spot! I changed it to be an outrider. That was a typo.
As far as ranged options, you're right, not a whole lot going on turn 1 considering the Koptas are in reserve. But I do believe the 4 Scrapjets can unleash a decently effective round of dakka, especially with the recent FAQ increasing the accuracy of their 12 big shoota shots. That being said, I see this army as more of a turn 2 "beta strike" list. Turn 1 i'm going to get shot up, but a lot of my stuff will be outside 18" to receive the cover save from the clan trait. Turn 2 the koptas will arrive and my melee threats will likely be able to start charging. I just really have to play turn 1 defensively and Taktikly (in blood axe fashion) to maximize a strong turn 2 threat from both shooting and assault.

I'm still kinda a noob, so don't take my word for gospel, but I think it's a fine list. The only thing I could see you consistently struggling against would be Knights. But Orkz have always had issues dealing with those. Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh, and lists with lots of Flying units will also give ya some trouble.

The Nobz with killsaws are pretty good against Knights. As far as Flying units, they'll be annoying, but my plan for them is mass amounts of str 5 shots. I have 120 str 5 shots going out each turn.
I agree with you though, there are definitely things that the list will struggle with, but overall I think it has an answer to most matchups. We shall see!
