Wife and I are getting back in after being gone since 6th. She is completely new and in love with necrons, I know they aren't the most competitive, but let me know what you think of what we have been working on.
CCBs are bad, flayed ones are bad, dont take them. Use a cryptek and overlord as HQ. Mephrit is not a good choice for footslogging infantry, use nihilakh. You have no destroyers, they are one of the best units necrons have. Dont use any equipment on wraith, run them naked, and only one unit, maxed, if possible.

Definitely won't complain about saving points on the CCB's
The plan was to use the flayed ones as backup for the wraiths and the warlord. I guess the destroyers could replace them and get that buff too. Would you recommend the blood scythe for that big damage on the Destoyer Lord or the one that let's him rez?
Automatically Appended Next Post: So something a bit more like this?

It depends if you want offense or defense. For offense i prefer the voidreaper, which replaces the warscythe. It wounds everything that isnt a VEHICLE on 2+, regardless of toughness. Combined with entropic strike the first attack is almost guaranteed to do 2 damage. You hit on 3s, re-rolling 1s, and wound on 2s. No inv against this. For defense the nanoscarab casket.

Thanks for the advice, she likes the destroyers more than the flayers anyway, as far as the relic, guess that'll be her personal style as both are viable.
I would also consider dropping one of the warrior units for more immortals, and look to merge two of the scarab units to make them that but durable. They don't have much to screen, so a unit of 6 and 3, or even 5 and 4.
Then again, if you drop a unit of warriors that ghost ark can become useless if you lose the other unit.
I will say, CCB are not bad by any stretch (especially if you throw a Lightning Field on there. It depends what you want it for though. If you're using it as a MWBD, gunline holder then Overlord is the better option, but if you want them to get stuck in there, CCBs are great.
