What a beast, looks great, although the reaver weapons look a bit small on it. What do people think?

Well it's reaver-warlord crossover. Guess reaver arm weapons for sake of logistical.
Game wise same as every other titan. Totally underpowered junk that is basically autolose unless opponent brings up one of his own.

I think it looks great and if you are playing against CSM, Eldar or Tyranids you'll be able to field it in APOC games. Plus that quake cannon would make an immense terrain piece if you were rich enough to do that.

Have you seen the photos of it from the side? The front-on photo GW used isn't the best (and I wonder if there isn't some perspective distortion going on with it too). From the side the smaller arms look far better, esp when matched to the elongated upper carapace that it has.
Great looking artillery titan in my view!

Yeah the one from the sides is what made me think it looked great, front on it looks a bit goofy.

Pretty much every model GW ever releases looks much better in person. So many times have I hated the promotional material but kinda liked the thing in person.

Apocalypse is not a game, it's a masochistic exercise in taking models out of your boxes and putting them away again. When I say "game" I'm referring to normal games of 40k, where there's more to it than going away for a two-hour dinner break and coming back to find your opponents still in their movement phase. And thankfully this titan will not appear there. Automatically Appended Next Post:
Yep. It looks better from the side, but it's awful from the front. And unfortunately you can't have a model where people can only see it from the side. Maybe I'll change my mind if I see one in person and it really is a perspective distortion thing, but so far I'm not impressed at all.

APOC is realistic, your troops getting demolished in one go is what war in 40k would look like. I love APOC games.

Your troops sitting there doing nothing while the entire enemy army shoots at them is not realistic. Nor is it fun to spend several hours watching your opponents play the game before you get to do anything. Sure, you love Apocalypse, but there are people who like getting tied up and beaten until they're bruised all over. Everyone has their masochism, I guess.

It actually is. If a battle includes titans, then the titans and super-heavies are the battle, what the troops do is contingent on which sides titans win. Titans can destroy cities, so yeah its very realistic. Do you expect a unit is going to survive a blast from a volcano cannon lol

Looks pretty dope, honestly. The giant one giant gun seems a little gratuitous, but the details of the model are great, and I like it's overall shape.
I agree the pic from the front makes the arms look weird, but in the promo video it looks fine.

Looks awesome, I love the mechanical bits of the top deck, with the spotters and loading mechanisms, looks like the deck of a battleship. That said however, not so impressed with the rules, could have done something rather unique with the Quake Cannon, but instead we just have "2x Reaver weapons, 2x Quadguns which are actually worse than regular Quadguns, and a bog-standard Warlord Quake Cannon".

Having your titans sitting there doing nothing while the enemy titans spend three hours shooting at you is not fun either. The issue is IGOUGO with massive armies, not titan firepower.

This. I actually find Apoc a lot of fun this edition, but the turns really need to be time limited or it gets out of hand.

The removal of blast templates, scattering, LoS cover stuff, and some the the more gimmicky wound allocations rules really speeds up Apoc level games in 8E.
That said, playing 15k games can get...exhausting, and IGOUGO really makes for some boring 150 min turns.
The new titan doesn't do much for me, I was a fan of the Warlord model, but this one just doesn't quite do it for me as much. I might like it more with a different head, I dont like the similar Warlord head either.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.
New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts. |

I can’t wait for this guy to appear in Adaptus Titanicus! Looks like a great middle weight Battle Titan, right there between the Reaver and the Warlord. And with the Rapier Scout Titan also on its way, definitely going to enjoy AT more than that garbage we have with 8th.
Minor spoiler, but hoping we see a Warrior class Titan. In the novel, it was just bigger than a Warhound but had the defenses of a Reave.

I'm not really a fan of the model, the huge cannon on top, then what look like little T-Rex arms make it look a little silly to me.

I really like it, actually tempted. Would go well as a siege titan for my iron warriors. Would go for a least one volcano cannon, not sure about the other one.

Its a perfect titan for Iron Warriors, GW should write some fluff to connect the two.

I like it. When they first revealed that front-on picture I thought it was ugly, but it grew on me, especially after seeing other angles and the 360 shot. I don't own any titans yet, but would like to eventually, as a modelling project rather than a gaming piece. I mean, my regular citadel models basically never see the table anyway so I suppose owning a titan would be no different in that regard. The main problem this one faces from my point of view is that if I'm going to buy a titan (or titans), I'd be looking at the more iconic patterns first., and if I was looking at this sort of money I'd figure I may as well stump up the extra few hundred for the Warlord.
Plus as a loyal Asuryani, I might not consider mon-keigh titans until I have at least one of our own. Which could get mighty expensive very quickly.
