Hi everybody. This christmas im gonna buy the start collecting for necrons. I usually play AoS but some of my friends have been telling me to play 40k and i like how necrons look.
I dont want to play tournaments or anything, but i would want to know what units you would add to the start collecting box that arent another start collecting box.
Some more warriors or any elite unit that is nice to paint and play?

The Battleforce is good value. If you want good units instead, you could buy a lot of Destroyers or Wraiths. Chapter Approved will rebalance Necrons and probably lead to other units becoming stronger, too.
edit: this isn't to say that the Battleforce is full of bad units, it's more that current pre-CA Necrons are basically the Destroyers and Wraiths show.

I'd wait a couple of weeks to see if Chapter Approved 2018 will make some units more/less appealing, but right now I'd say Destroyers, Wraiths and more Immortals.

Yup, destroyers and wraiths as stated.
But necrons really are one of the factions that can make good use of multiple SC boxes.

Doomsday Ark is always a useful addition. I use 2 in every list and they always serve me well.

Assuming no changes in CA destroyers, wrraiths, immortals and doomsday arks.
However with 2 weeks to CA seriously bad idea to invest in new models unless you have money to waste as it could turn things upside down. Imagine buying above and then finding out they became bad units to take...
