I saw this on my science feed and and just laughed as I realized what a lot of imperial cities and hives are likely made of.

If you want to put this in some faction, go ahead.

If I know 40k, they've likely updated this process and replaced the urine with the blood of martyrs and the sand with their ground up bones.

Well, maybe they call is "plascrete" because "pisscrete" was somewhat unappealing...

In the Word Bearers novels, that is exactly how they build their... tower-thing. Only with captives/cultists, not martyrs.
I doubt you can think of anything so stupid that Black Library or Mat Ward didn't think of it first.

This urine based concrete is a real thing, and honestly, if it works, if it lasts, if it doesn't smell like an outhouse I say it's a good thing.

Based on alleged sites in the Ancient World I think you'll find.

'It's Warp!' so RW physics and chemistry do not applies anyway. Not to mention 'turning to eleven' pagan rites where souls of buried underneath/near/used in costruction were supposed to become it's keepers and servants.
PS On lighter note (probably due to PG-rating and SM bein' 'geld-warriors'(C)fenrisians in late BL books ) GW / BL skipped one of rumoured Middle-Age blacksmithing practices where sword had extra manliness and bond to user created with user's own strictly male bodily fluid used during forging

Except Plascrete and Ferrocrete are made out of a concrete, plastic, and steel alloy. Nowhere has it been implied that they are made out of organic material, save for a wall of martyrs.

Well, yeah, they'll tell you that, of course, just to keep eldar from sneering at them more...
Remember the first rule of the imperium: everything you have been told is a lie.
