Just wondering how many people collect the golden boys of the imperium?

Also how many of you paint them up as the classic gold or as the black shadow keepers?

And do you play them as pure 2k list I asked this as I play them as a pure force.

One more do you think that they will be on Vigilus in the future as a formation?

I have a small set, but pretty much only as a painting project - classic gold (fleshshade gloss over gold)

They've only ever seen the table as an allied force.

I just like there lore so most of the time I run them on there own.

I don't play them but two friends at our club do. One plays them as a very competitive army and he does well. The other plays them as a casual fun army with (occasionally) some Knight allies.

its on my 2do list.
of all the 40k armies there are 2 that has the biggest chanse of beeing completed for me, a mono guard and mono custodes.

thing is, i overcomplicated the paintjob for a result that realy aint that mutch better then a basicly gold spray, so that is basicly what prevents me from currently getting an army up and running.

i just need to get the overcomplicated stuff out of my mind so i can reset and start over.

They are my casual army. I just paint them up to look cool, rather than picking competitive options. Playing around with building fancy bases for every model, and so on.

I'm painting them in the solar watch scheme. Bone coloured, with red and gold detailing.

Lol that ok since I’ve watched If the Emperor had a speech device all I can imagine is them running around with oil.

I went with shadowkeepers because I'm a sucker for black, but painted classic gold and red for Trajann, as I made him into a nod to Kitten.

When I play them I ally them up with marines or guard, tried them solo, but didnt quite liked how they worked. Maybe in the future when we'll get the goodies from the 30k line (let me dream).

I have a 1500pt army of them, all bikes and a couple Banner guys.

I only got them b.c i liked the bikes lol

I have 2700 points of Custodes right now, as well as some 30k models that don't have 40k rules yet. I started the army back in 7th edition, before they had a codex, and went with my own custom colour scheme.

I always run them as pure Custodes, since our play group plays casually. They're a fun army, and I love the models.

I'm building a custode force in my inverse marine army colors (Dark Angels colors) - white with green joints and gold trim.

Most of my models are actually Stormcast miniatures, using Drakons as bikes.
