This CP is interesting to me. What warlord trait will you now consider taking in addition to the old standard? For my Deathwatch, keeping Lord of Hidden Knowledge and adding Castellan of the Black Vault on a Thunderhammer. Or for my DAs, Brilliant Strategist and Fury of the Lion.

Isn't that the one you have to take specialist detachments for?

Yeah... not really talking about it because I can't use it...

Seems cool, but till either of my armies get Formations, can't say much on it.

I wish non-Imperial forces could use this.

The way it was shown on the Community page heavily implied as much. Weird.

It was preview on the Imperial Specialist Detachment page, no wonder folks would think it's Imperial only.

Also, it only applies to Specialist Detachments, so Necrons, Tau, Nids, and probably a few I'm missing are just boned then.

Can't do that. Field Commanders adds the FORMATION'S warlord trait to a guy, not any one of your choice.
