I was thinking about getting one of these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Portable-Airbrushing-Spray-Booth-Airbrush-Spray-Booths-More-Powerful-4m-p-min/263683973379?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

But I was wondering if there was anything else I should consider?

I made my own spray booth out of a large plastic bin, a bathroom duct fan and some basic filter material. You don't need anything crazy as long as it gets the air moving and catches the paint particles somehow. Those spray booths look like they'd work well; the only other thing I'd consider is where you're going to vent the exhaust and whether or not you need to extend the exhaust line somehow.

The main issue with making my own is space, I quite like that one as it seems to fold away quite nicely.

Could you put up some pics of your booth please?

I bought a similar model recently. There are a ton of knock-offs of the same thing floating around under a dozen different names. The Paasche version seems to be the best quality (probably the original that was copied repeatedly), but of course the most expensive. Paasche also sells bigger, expandable metal versions if you want a more permanent work space.

I currently vent mine into a small plastic garbage bin with some paper towels in the bottom. Seems to work well, but I haven't done any mass spraying with it yet either. I don't want to restrict airflow too much and strain the fan motor, as the filter should catch the majority of the particles.

I have a similar one that I got for about £20 less and it has done everything I needed it to.

With that particular hood, the filter looks like a standard poly pad, an example would be pillow stuffing but shaped/ layered

You could possibly get away with using thick green scourer/ pot scrubbies
