So, been meaning to finish up an army, and with the swap to 8th I was going in with Carcharadons, swapped to Blood Angels before the big Alpha strike Nerf, and have settled into World Eaters Chaos Marines.

Is this list is viable or am I letting Khorne's call for Blood and Skulls addle my brain?
Idea being Zerkers each get an
HQ for buffs, and a Rhino for getting not-shot-on-the-way-to-murder (and possibly an objective or two should... ya know, the Apostle manage to talk the Berzerkers into holding a bit of ground long enough to consecrate it). Each Champ has a Powerfist for tin-can opening so my Zerkers can get at the delicious, skull-y innards and an Icon in each squad hopefully ensures they make it to grips with the enemy to do Khorne's glorious work.
Maulerfiends are there mostly to make massive, bullet-magnet-y nuissances of themselves so my Berzerkers don't get shot off the table, and if they can eat a tank or tarpit while they're at it, cool. Sicaran gets Anti-Flyer duty or Anti-Infantry duty (whoever looks like they have one of those "please shoot me in the face" kinds of faces at the time and/or is an opportune target), and the Kytan does the heavy lifting should someone bring me a knight to hopefully get a skull out of. Hellwright is there to babysit the Daemonforged critters and keep them critter-ing for as long as possible (tho he's armed to the teeth so I may as well get some work out of him too if I can as well as those sweet, sweet bonus attacks).
Too specialized in Melee or am I following Kharn's teaching of "If Violence Doesn't Solve Your Problem, You're Not Using Enough of It!" correctly?
