Instead of using a brigade you should use two battalions, better point efficiency. But if you really want to use a brigade, drop the assault squads, they are pathetic. Use scout bikers instead. Drop the hunters, use dev squads. Drop the predators, use razorbacks with twin LC. Drop the sternguard veterans, use company vets with JP. Try to add a libby dread instead of tycho.

Sternguards are alright if you only have a couple squads; they can use masterful marksmanship to do quite a lot of damage. But they probably shouldn't be a staple unit.

Better? I have tried to improve my assault squads. Want to play to Descent of Angels.

Disclaimer: haven't played in a year or so so I'm not 100% on track with the newest additions and meta.

But anyway.

As others stated, Vanguard Veterans are vastly superior to Assault Marines nowadays. For only two points per model you get a significant boost in the extra attack.
Besides that the wargear options are great: cheap ass stormshields and a Relic Blade for the Sergeant.

If you insist on wysiwyg I get ya, but I've just started using my Assault Marines as Veterans.

Other than that the list seems solid. Mephiston seems a bit lonely, will he go into a Razorback with Tactical meatshields?
