Hello everyone !

Here is the ork list I have been working on. It aims to be the most competitive list I can build using Blood Axes.
It's based on ETC lists i have seen except that it's not Evil Sunz and run a few less boyz (90) than most of them.

I wanted this list to be original and use the most of the Blood Axe kultur and the Mob Up stratagem.
It's kinda a greentide horde list revisited to be more Kunnin'.

All this give us a bunch of CP.
I plan to use 1 CP to deep strike (Dead Sneaky) Tankbustas and 2 CP to do the same with Ghazghkull.

I won't explain all the tricks this list could do, I think most of ork players allready knows them. But in few words :
- Kunnin' but brutal redeployment
- Da jump / Fists of Gork / Warpath
- Unstopable Green Tide / Mob Up / Ramming Speed
- Double Killsaws nobz
- Blood Axe Taktiks + Ghazghkull's Great Waaagh !
- Da Killa Klaw + Brutal but Kunnin'

BTW I have a question for you guys, do you think Ghazghkull worth it for the Hulk he is and the combo between Taktiks and Great Waaagh or should I replace him with one Big Mek with SAG and 5 Mek Smasha Gunz ?

Do you think this list could make it on the competitive scene ?

Can't use Dead Sneaky on Ghazghkull since he is the wrong clan.
The only time you should ever think about running Ghaz is when you are intending to show others how much he sucks. The only way he could have even possiibly been valuable during the days of the Index was just to run tons of blobs of Boyz (even then he was too expensive to justify). Now that the price of Boyz have gone up and the amount of blobs gone down GW for some reason decided to increase his point value.

I know Ghaz' can't use Dead Sneaky stratagem, I use Telly Porta for him.

The point of adding Ghaz' to this list is because I still run a few blobs of boyz (even if this is a few less than in the index) with a toons of Killsaws and with the ability to mob up units togheter and to synergy with Blood Axes' Taktiks wich allows me to fallback and charge every turns for the +1A and first to hit.

But I agree he is still kinda costy, that's why I may replace him for SAG big mek (wich can use any kultur I want, Deathskull for example?) and 5 Mek Smasha Gunz (wich is exactly Ghazy's cost), but I realy feel he can have his place in such list.

OTOH, if he doesnt, do you think mek/gunz is a good way to replace him or would you recommand any other unit to complete my list?

You can't go wrong with Smash Gunz. Point for point they are probably our best unit. They do great damage, high AP, low cost,. and act as great distractions.

Another option is take two of them, another HQ, either some more Tankbustas or two cheap meks or Nobz, and three units of grots and gain another 7 CPs (Orks are always starved for CPs).

Do you mean turning a battalion into a brigade ?
If this is it, I would lack to fill fast attack slots.

It's so fun to see your opponent's smile when he almost destroy the first turn Da Jump boyz wich failed their charge against that IK turning into a rictus when you deepstrike 20 more boyz, mob up, warpath and OTK that IK back with orks on steroids !

It looks very fun actually. Just one thing: why don't you switch 30+10 blood axes boyz with 2x10 goffs gretchins. This way you'll have 40 goffs boyz that can also be upgraded to S5 and they have exploding 6s in melee, which is more useful than the blood axes trait. Blood axes gretchins can also bubble wrap the bustas trukk and shield the tank hunters if their transport is wrecked.

Yeah you want to teleport the bustas but in some games they can just ride in the trukk and mob up the 30+10 boyz into a single blob instead. Even with teleported tankbustas those gretchins could be useful to shield blood axes boyz at least, if they're goffs they can't shield anything though.

I was thinking to put the Da Jump mob (30 boyz) into the Goffs detachment for exploding melee attacks or Skarboyz stratagem but it would lack the benefit from Waaagh Banner and the opportunity to mob up with all my other boyz and that's something I realy dislike...
If I want to, I still can drop 10 boyz from one of the trukk to mob up a 40 boyz unit for Da Jump.
BTW Blood Axes trait is far stronger than it seems... It may looks not as good as exploding melee and more situational but hitting first everytimes after I fallback and charge again when my vehicles prevent overwatchs is a thing I do a lot with this army. In addition, I m currently running Telly-Porta Ghazghkull (since I actualy don't have all the Smasha Guns I need) wich may give me +1 attack on every boyz everytimes I do this trick.

Putting tankbustas on the board T1 is something I try to avoid because they would be a too huge firemagnet and even grot shields or trukk wont save them against a strong shooting list wich want their death.
Most of the time I try to denie T1 to my opponent licking my side of the board with most of my units, using Kunnin' But Brutal to redeploy my vehicles forward or backward depending if I got the first turn or not and using the Battlewagon (filled with boyz or grots) as a distraction carniflex.
I use Da Jump (and Kunnin' But Brutal's vehicle redeployment + Deffkilla Wartrike advance & charge+ Ramming Speed if I play first) to try to engage opponent on T1 and push the battle on my ennemy side of the board and keep pressure then wait T2 for the real impact wich comes with deepstriking/disembark boyz wich I mob up, deepstriking Tankbustas with (More Dakka! stratagem) that I protect with DaJump'ed gretchins.
