Notes: I'm not trying to be super competitive and a pure Custodes list seems very fluffy and important of an idea to me.
The under-strength Praetor unit is both to fit in the points (as I was about 100 over) and because I do not want to have to buy 3 boxes for 7 models.

Give the telemon double cannons. The melee weapon is very expensive to the point of probably being overpriced, and as custodes you have a lot of threatening melee. What you need is ranged firepower, which is provided on a very durable platform by the telemon.

You should, if you have the points, upgrade the banner, as an aura of 5++ doesn't do much for the custodes. - 1 to hit would probably be more useful.

You actually appear to have the wrong points for the banner bearer. I believe you have not paid for the banner, or at least not written it here.

I totally missed the Vexilla thank you. I changed the load out on the Telemon and got some points to play with as a result.

My general strat was to have the Telemon sit in the backfield providing heavy fire support. The 3 Guard squads foot slogging it into the heart of the enemy with Trajann and the Vexilla buffing them/making them more survivable.

The Vertus and the jetbike Shield-Captain would act as screens on the flanks and hunt down anything that would try to slow down the infantry from real targets. All the while the Achillus would probably deepstrike and act as a Distraction Carnifex and hunt the measiest thing in the enemy back line, hopefully going critical when he inevitably dies.

Looks better. As I understand it, and someone may correct me here if I'm wrong, but an understrength unit has to be placed in an auxiliary support detachment.

You're correct. Another thing I missed and apoligize for.

I'll just run a single unit of 5 (although I'd rather run two units, oh well)
