Subject: Countering Canoptek Wraiths?

I just got shredded by a squad of six Wraiths that walked through half my army (BatRep in the Sisters Tactica). They were brutal: wounding my T3 army on 2s, ignoring melta fire with great invulurable saves, and standing back up every round thanks to a 2cp stratagem. I tried drowning them in dice, but my rolling was terrible and they're T5 and hard to wound. What have people found in general as an answer to Canoptek Wraiths?

Mortal Wound spam and the massed high RoF weapons are the best way to handle any high inv saves. TBH, lucky you, you did not run into Harlequins who have both high Inv save and stack minus to hit, making them much more painful to deal with compare to Necron Wraiths.
What army you play? If you are playing Deathwatch, you are in advantage, since they have smite, stratagem induced mortal wounds, and their high RoF weapon can wound Wraiths on 2s, so it can force lots of saves that the Wraiths, eventually they would fail some.

I'll second the advice to hit them with Mortal Wounds. I'm not too familiar with Sisters of Battle, but I think they can get some sort of ability? Failing that, massed firepower (bolters, heavy flamers, heavy bolters etc) to force saves. That used to be how you killed marines/terminators before they brought the ap system back from second edition. If you force someone to roll fistfulls of dice for their saves, they're going to roll some 1's and 2's.

That is hardly going to cut it. You are talking about 18 T5 3++ wounds that come back, they are really hard to take down, not even a slamguinius can do it and you can't screen from them because they can fall back over other models and charge.

He should be keeping a cryptek near them so if he burns two cp to given them a shot at resseurection the cryptek boosts it.
Also does he given them trans dimensional beamers? D3 heavy shots, S4, ap-3, d1 shots that MW on a 6, 12" range. If he picks sautekh dynasty they can move and fire without penalty. Expensive, but they can pound a unit if they can't melee it.

The obvious solution is to not play mono-Sororitas. Within Sororitas you are fethed, especially with the crippled AoFs.

Play Sisters as The Pink Tide and stop getting caught in the noob trap of "vehicles" and "special weapons".
He has 18 T5 3++ wounds?
Okay, charge it with 60 stock Bloody Rose girls with stock boltguns and boltpistols.
The Passion your Canoness, and 3 CP splash it.
Congratulations, you now have 256 S4 attacks from those 60 models. So what if they wound on 5s and he saves on 3s: that's still 18 failed saves even without the Canoness rerolls.
Sisters are just Ork Boyz who believed in The Emperor so hard that he adopted them.

If you're rolling horrible all the time, maybe you've got bad dice. I had a batch of cheap dice that rolled 1's something like 40% of the time (my friends and I actually did some mass rolling, it was terrible). Machined, competitive backgammon dice are expensive but at least you can rely on them to roll randomly.
