Sautekh battalion
Imotekh stormlord - Warlord, hyperlogical strategist
Cryptek - chronometron, veil of darkness
10 immortals - tesla carbine
10 immortals - tesla carbine
19 warriors
Triarch stalker - heavy gauss cannon
3 scarabs
3 scarabs
6 destroyers
3 doomsday arks
I'm hoping to make a competitive army at 1750 , i chose sautekh mainly so I can keep my dds mobile and imotekh seems good now with the point changes. Also against knights if I can use methodical destruction stratagem with triarch stalker buffs, my 3 doomsdays will hit on 2+ reroll 1s.
Any criticism or help to make the list stronger and also what to add if I was to increase to 2k points as my local store plays both point totals.

Well, I'd consider three Doom Scythes instead of three Doomsday Arks.
Much higher mobility and more bang for the bucks.

I like it. At 2k i would add another warrior, a lord, more scarabs, another triarch stalker.

Yes, much higher mobility, but worse in every other way. Less range (which is compensated by its higher movement, if there is space for the flyer to go there), less number of shots, less wounds, less AP. It has a minimum move, and no hover ability. An experienced opponent can kill a flyer without even shooting at it, simply by placing his models in the flyers path. Its even simpler for him with three flyers. A flyer doesnt count for boots on the ground. If your opponent kills all your other forces you are tabled, and lose the game. Flyers cant hold objective markers.

Doom Scythes are well-worth to be considered due to their increased mobility.
The flying path is not that decisive as in the previous edition.
I must admit that I cannot stand the Ark models and never would field them.
Sorry for being a bit biased here.

I forgot to add that flyers dont have QS. The -1 to hit is easily avoided by using weapons which automatically hit, or get +1 to hit flyers.

Three Doom Scythes can be a shock-and-awe unit, also making use of the Deceiver's redeployment ability.
I think that an initial strike could have a significant impact upon the enemy and he/she will have to rethink about the battle plan.
In the meanwhile the remaining Necron force can get into position.

Three DDAs dont need to be redeployed because they have 72" range.

P5freak: I hear your words.
I suggest the OP should keep the unspeakable DDAs.

Haha thanks for the replys, doomscythes are better now but doomsday arks are even better, there our best anti armour and I already have 2 so just gotta get another with my Xmas money.
What other trait would you consider? I'm not a fan of any necron specific so I default go for for cp farm.

If you're running those infantry blocks, Immortal Pride. Auto-passing any Morale check is 2 CP you're not having to spend, and it lets you attempt to stop a psychic power (which is like...whatever, but you get it).
If you're set on keeping the Warrior blob, add a Ghost Ark for maximum tankiness. I'd consider a second Cryptek as well so you don't have to castle everything around 1 model.
Also consider a second Triarch Stalker for redundancy. The Particle Shredder is pretty nasty, and you can use one with the THGC to target vehicles to support the DDAs, while the PS targets infantry to support your Flayer Arrays and infantry.
