ITC requirements, for GT level of thumpery.

My question is, should I field as is below, or cut two units of rangers, lose the 5 CPs as that reduces the battalion to a patrol, for a unit of scourges and their 4 haywire blasters? Are the 5 add'l CPs worth some rather assured Imperial Knight destruction? Or is another use of Vect's Agents better? Gawd, I love the narrative part of the game when these come up!

As is the list comes up to 1975, there's room for a blast pistol here or there (succubi, I'm looking at muh girls!)

The list looks good, but I've got a few recommendations. I would keep the triple battalion, the CPs are just too good and the rangers can sit on objectives.

Secondly, why do you have Kabalite Trueborn? I think it would be better to spread those blasters out onto the Raiders with the normal Kabalites, unless you are planning to bring them in from reserves on a Venom or something every game. I would either move those blasters onto the normal Kabalites or drop the Trueborn for another Scourge unit with Haywire Blasters.

Also, with all that CP you might want to look at some of the weird stratagems, like Torment Grenade, Alliance of Agony (you can do it with just a Succubus + Archon), and the extra relic strat. Might be nice to have some Phantasm Grenade Launchers around for the Torment Grenade strat, and maybe you can give your Succubi some combination of relic and warlord trait?

I have been running 3 units of scourges with haywire blasters, with eldar being a Patrol. The Trueborn have been there the whole time with this 8e codex. This thread's new iteration has me thinking of the 3 battalions, extra CPs, etc, of which I sacrificed one unit of scourges.

The trueborn do ride the venom and are used to character snipe, and other situational application of the blasters. The venom's foot print is very small and its speed and maneuverability allow me to snuggle it between enemy efforts to protect characters. They unload with blasters, and odds are 2 hits will get through to wound, 2D6 averaging 7 points. In most cases, that's a dead character.

IMHO, the best succubus relic is that ax/glaive, but it is for Red Grief. However, I think Cursed Blade is by far the best cult. Since AoV got more expensive, I'm more stingy with CPs, so Alliance of Agony is out, especially as succubi are rather fragile as characters go, and being a h2h buffer, often on the front line, those girls tend to die. I don't like to spend on the succubi.

Thanks though.
