Had a game the other day and my Shield Captain (Warlord) got zapped by some psychic love...aka "Smite". Would the warlord trait "Superior Creation" prevent the loss of the wound? I was just reading the codex again today and forgot about the Warlord traits within it. Coming across this trait, I wonder if it might have helped....or not.

Anybody on these forums know for sure?

Yes, it would. (Image linked from WHC)

I figured as much, but you never know. Had to ask....

Thank for the reply!

Note that you would NOT get your usual 6+ FNP against the Psychic wound, ONLY the 5+ from Superior Creation.

It was FAQed that you cannot stack FNP rolls.

Actually it's not that simple. Abilities that ignore only mortal wounds or wounds in a specific phase are not technically Ignore Wounds effects, thus are not restricted by the BRB errata to them. https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/756220.page

Yes they really are. Stahp. That kind of “well ackshually, techknicully...” lingo lets you know that a hot take is probably scraping the rules barrel in an attempt to appear legitimate, whilst actually being plain incorrect.
