Ok we all hear how big and powerful the chaos gods are, but what about Gork and Mork?
If gods are created by people , and there are more orks than humans and eldar, then shouldn't gork and Mork be more powerful as manifestations of the collective ork race's beliefs?
How do the ork gods stack up compared to chaos gods? Has Mork ever decided to go see how tough khorne is in a straight up fight? Has Mork ever tried to match Tzeentch in terms of "kunnin' "?
You'd think that since orks are in many ways more unified in their beliefs and more numerous, then by 40k "reality" their gods ought to be major players in the warp. Oddly we hear so much about the chaos 4 but not so much about Gork 'n Mork.

Gork and Mork beat the gak out of Nurgle once in his own house just for gak and giggles. They basically rang his bell and when he open the door, Gork punched him in the face and floored him. Then Mork stabbed him in the back while he was trying to pick himself up before they both ran away laughing like a bunch of proud bullies. They could have saved Isha or even destroyed Nurgle's kitchen and attic (where he keeps his plagues and poison), but they didn't care. They just wanted to punch the creepy old man.
We hear so much about hte 4 compared to Gork and Mork because the narrative of 40K is centered on Space Marines and there are no Space Marines worshipping Ork gods (or Eldar gods or the Hive Mind). Maybe GW could expand on those kind of traitors at some point.

It's says in the old Ork codex that Mork is so powerful he can shrug off any attack from any gods while laughing and beat them up with his giant club like if they were children.
And was tbat bit with nurgle an official story? I'm curious.
I think it was in an old white dwarf. It's fairly old.

I doubt so. From the description of Gork and Mork and the relationship of Chaos with the Orks, the Gods of Chaos are probably affraid of them or at least very careful around them. Orks don't fear nor respect Chaos. Humans and Eldars are pathologically affraid of it. I think that says a lot about their relationship.

In all fairness the orks were created to fight necrons and resist the warp.
And there was the bit where khorne took a band of orks into his realm, and they thought it was heaven.

I think you are confusing the taking of a band of orks by Khorne with Tuska's Waaagh! who decided to attack the Eye of Terror. It smashed through Imperial blockades who were caught by surprise since they don't expect people to come into the Eye and then destroyed worlds several daemon world fairly easily until they assaulted one of Khorne's most prized world where they are locked in enternal combat. The Greater Daemon (or Daemon Prince) that rules over the place manages to kill Tuska every battle, but always gets castrated in the process.

Unless 8th changed it they are still impervious to the attacks from the chaos gods. Lucky for chaos the two are usually busy bullying each other. Like a force of nature just take cover till they pass and cleanup afterward.

The idea of Warp gods "doing" anything is just pointless and stupid in my opinion. The gods are just a way to add flavour to the background of the races that worship them. 40k is primarily a setting in which different races clobber the piss out of each other. Anything that takes place without the direct involvement of these races really has no meaning as far as I care.

Gork and Mork are effectively the most powerful warp entities, except they have no real motivation to do anything. Their own Orky ADD means they are disruptive to the other gods, but they aren’t capable or willing to hold it together long enough to do more than that. If anything, they are the best representative of the warp gods. They are more akin to a force of nature, rather than gods with anthropomorphic traits.

Active armies, still collecting and painting First and greatest love - Orks, Orks, and more Orks largest pile of shame, so many tanks unassembled most complete and painted beautiful models, couldn't resist the swarm will consume all
Armies in disrepair: nothing new since 5th edition oh how I want to revive, but mostly old fantasy demons and some glorious Soul Grinders in need of love |

I don’t think the ORK gods are warp entities. And ORKS aren’t resistant to the warp, they can worship chaos and suffer mutations and possessions. Says so in the ORK bibles.
