Hi all,

I've used the below list in the four games i've played with my new orks and i'm currenty at 4 wins out of 4. But i'm going to be using it in an upcoming tourney soon. So far i've faced 1ksons, another ork army, GSC, and necrons so not faced any soup lists yet.

I feel happy with the list but as a mostly Chaos player i would just like some feedback from the more experience orks out there!

Below is the list as i currently have it, and underneath that is another variation.

Tactics here are obvious, Trike and bonebreakers rush hopefully getting a turn 1 charge if lucky or pop Ramming speed on one of them. Boys get warpath and Da jump. So turn 1 i should have a lot in combat, fingers crossed. Looters, SAG, and Mek guns go for things that are in combat. Bikes and shooter boys in the truck go for objectives. Turn two bone breakers drop the nobz to get stuck in, then move out of combat and charge again thanks to the trike if i take speedfreak warlord trait.

My alternative list is the same pretty much, but dropping the SAG and moving the weird boy to the Bad moons, then dropping two big shooters from the bone breakers and adding a warboss as the warlord with Brutal but Kunning and the Killa Klaw who will ride in the bone breakers. Gives me less shooting but the SAG and two big shooters aren't that much of a loss for a warboss to throw into combat.

Hi, I'm not convinced about a few things:

- Bonebreakas: you want them to advance and charge, and they're going to be priority targets so just play them bare bones with no weapons.

- Lootas: they desperately want gretchins to shield them but only gretchins of the same kultur can do that. So drop the shoota boyz and bring 3x10 bad moons gretchins instead and with the spared points of the bonebreakas add another weirdboy or a warboss in order to upgrade that spearhead to a battallion gaining 4 CPs.

- Drop than lone trukk and add more gretchins, mek gunz, a buggy, 1-2 koptas, kommandos or more nobz with the spared points. Bring an ammo runt with the nobz squads, they'll soak the first high AP multi damage hit that the squad takes saving a nob.

Thanks for the tips, my army is still barebones currently and a lot of it is from the speedkult/start collecting box sets so i just got stuck in my ways using the weapons on the bonebreakers to make up points in my earlier games

I do have a lot of gretchin on the way so could easily do the tips you mentioned, plus scratch build some more mek guns from the bitz i have.

With the grots i should be able to camp home objectives easily, then use the bikes to grab mid field, enemy objectives if clear. I'll still have the shock and awe of the bonebreakers and 30 boyz hopefully getting a turn 1 assault, and have more mek guns pounding positions. Was sure if i should go 3x tracktors 2x smasha tho.

Well wasn't too bad! I came 11th out of 28th which considering this is only the 5th time i had played the Orks i felt wasn't two bad!

Against my first two opponents, it was brutal. The combo of Boyz Bomb and Bone Breaker rush with the Trike worked well and smashed into their lines causing chaos, from there it was just grab the objectives with the rest of the army and pop targets with the lootas and Mek guns.

Against the more experienced players in my last two games the boyz bomb, and bonebreaker rush was easily countered so it was down to grabbing what i could with the rest. I feel the bikes where a let down and didn't really add much to the list, i may consider dropping these in favour of teleporting in a deffdread onto an objective instead to add some bite? Obviously need to drop some points here and there.

The Shock attack gun was ok.... when it rolled high by Gork did it do damage. But it's still way too random. Perhaps replace him with an Index KFF to help protect the lootas/mek guns.

Against the more experienced players who screened well my 30man boys squad was quite pointless to Da Jump in, so i'm considering a small stormboyz or kommadoes squad to drop into a smaller area to claim objectives from under their nose?
