Hi all, If this is the wrong area to post please let me know and ill move it, wasn't sure if this thread was for full army lists or not.
I'm making a Knight list with Admech Support, so far it looks like this:

Battalion Detachment: +5CP
Forge World: Lucius (ignore -1AP)

HQ
Tech-Priest Enginseer - 30pts
Warlord Trait :Necromechanic (Repairs 1 extra wound each time he repairs, with the Tech Apept Stratagem he repairs 4 wounds a turn on single model, or 2 wounds on two models)
Relic: The Solar Flare

Tech-Priest Enginseer - 30pts

Troops

Skitarii Ranger Squad - 72pts
Alpha with Glavanic rifles
2 Rangers with Galvanic Rifles
2 Rangers with Transuranic Arquebus'
Omnispex

Skitarii Vanguard - 95pts
Alpha with Radium Carbine and Power Sword
5 Vanguard with Radium Rifles
2 Vanguard with Plasma Caliver
Enhanced Data Tether

Skitarii Vanguard - 95pts
Alpha with Radium Carbine and Power Sword
5 Vanguard with Radium Rifles
2 Vanguard with Plasma Caliver
Enhanced Data Tether

Super Heavy Detachment +6CP
Household: House Krast, Questor Mechanicus
Exalted Court -1CP
Heirlooms of the Household -1CP

Armiger Warglaive - 162pts
Heavy Stubber

Armiger Warglaive - 162pts
Heavy Stubber

Knight Crusader - 478pts
Avenger Gattling Cannon, Heavy Flamer
Rapid Fire Battle Cannon, Heavy Stubber
Heavy Stubber
Titanic Feet
Warlord Trait - (Krast) Reroll hit rolls of 1

Knight Gallant - 352pts
Heavy Stubber
Thunderstrike Gauntlet
Reaper Chainsword
Titanic Feet
Knight Lance

Knight Preceptor - 425pts
Relic - The Helm Dominatus
Las Impulsor
Thunderstrike Gauntlet
Multilaser
Titanic Feet

Total Points - 1901
Total CP - 12 (14-2)

This leaves me with 99 points that I was thinking of using for a Pysker Detachment, Mostly for Deny's and the odd mortal wound here and there, but if that's not a good idea ill just add carapace weapons or maybe an elite Admech, depending on your thoughts.

The plan for most games is to have the Gallant run forward with Full Tilt (1CP) and first turn charge the thing i really want dead and also as a bit of a distraction carnifex.
The Preceptor and his Warglaives go tank hunting and Elite killing, with the mentor rule and the knight's relic allowing them to hit on 2+ rerlloing 1s, with the Warlord Enginseer trying his best to keep up and repair them, using his relic to teleport if his repairs are needed urgently elsewhere.
The Crusader sits on a back field objective, using the Gatling Cannon and both Heavy Stubbers to deal with infantry, and the RFBC firing at armoured units or tanks, with the regular enginseer repairing the inevitable returning fire he gets.
The Rangers sit on another back field objective sniping important characters with the TA's.
The Vanguard will provide extra fire support, deepstrike denial, and grabbing objectives once the knights have cleared room for them, and generally being the boots on the ground the knights need.

What are your thoughts Dakka?

Thanks for both replies, think its certain the Plasma and power weapons can go as you've both made a good point. Is it worth splitting the vanguard into two smaller squads do you think to cover more ground and also fire at different units if need be?

I havn't used or seen Ironstriders or Dragoons before, how do they work if you don't mind sharing.
Edit: After doing some research i see the use for dragoons with a stratagem and the correct canticles, is a single one worth it however as i dont think id be able to fit two.

As for the Preceptor, mine has actually performed incredibly, I found the two firing profiles and the buffs to the Warglaives very useful, although he is my only big knight at the moment so I don't really have much to compare him to.

Thanks for the feedback
