Hi guys!

I´m Juan, I´ve recently launch my first kickstarter, BattleFX and It´s funded! I want to share with you info about it and hope you like it! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/deadlyprintstudio/battlefx

"BattleFX is a bundle comprising of several 3D designs of dynamic effects and destructible terrain for wargames. ready for you to print.

Every item of the bundle has been carefully designed and tested to be 3D printed. this kickstarter includes a STL pack of each pledge, ready to be printed using your own 3D printer - or alternatively, using online 3D printing services.

After working extensively on the movie FX sector, we realized we could apply that experience to our wargamme hobby - and taking things to the next level.

We have been working very hard and have already finished designing and testing every one of the items on our basic pledge, therefore guaranteeing that YOU will get it. However, we want to continue creating and offering you new, epic effects for your wargames - hence the advance stretchgoals!"

"What you get"

If you want to know a little more about me, here is the website: https://deadlyprintstudio.com/

Thanks a lot for your time,

happy 3D printing! ^^

I like this idea a lot and may end up backing (the $32USD price point seems reasonable). Small doodads like this are a great application for 3D printing. My concern however is that a lot of these designs, which look great as 3D images, are not at all FDM printer friendly. There's lots of overhangs in difficult positions, lots of fine points and small islands, and few flat surfaces to anchor to the printing bed. To make the most of this kickstarter you'd really need an SLA/DLP printer and that's still a developing market for home users.

Totally. There's no way most people are printing half of these.

Hi! Thanks to give your feedback! We print all the 60 Fx (even more, we have more than 90 Fx designed and tested) with 2 diferent FDM printes, Anet A6 and Ender 3. Most of then need support, depend of the effect more or less quantity of supports. Tree support help a lot, and If you use 0.2 nozzle is super easy to remove it!
We will provide a extensive PDF guide to give to the baker a lot to info to help them to print al the bundle of the BattleFX campaign. Also, We have tested the more detail effects with SLA printer (Anycubic Photon) with excellent results. If you need photos or more info contact us! We will be happy to help you!

We will provide an extensive PDF guide for all our bakers to help them to print the 60 fx and more! We did more than 90 FX with budget FDM printers and with cheap filament. You can check our blog for more info: https://deadlyprintstudio.com/blog/

Thanks for your feedback and happy 3D printing!
