First one is more obvious in the skitarii direction, although we dont have any skitarii wielding chainswords, it has a different backpack and arms too.

Second one is harder to pinpoint, although it has bionic arms, and a similar backpack, both feature energy cores and noe even a weapon and a weird head.

Coincedence? I dont think so, why build up units from scratch if you can just look up skitarii

Thats the thing, never heard skitarii use this weapon. Also is tau even on vigilus? Do they have backpacks with cables hanging outside? Also looks like a bionic arm and the weapon not like a tau weapon

I'd wager both units are Admech or at least part of the same faction. The backpacks are pretty much identical, as is the blue lighting.

If this is indeed a hidden teaser for new Admech stuff, then that's a nice move by GW

Ordinarily I'd say it's just artistic license, but the fact that the Achilles Ridgerunner was subtly revealed in this same video would suggest that there might be something more to it.

I find the "Ranger" with the chainsword interesting. Mainly because the backpack is entirely different, there's no hoses or cables dangling off.

On the other side though, the new Genestealer model basically looks like how he does here

Now the model that's getting rundown by the bike looks like nothing in the Admech line

Looks more like artistic freedom to me.

Both pistols look different. Normally they show skitarii exactly how they are, to promote the army line.

Wasn't there also a hint of AM gravcopter in the GSC kill team box fluff? Might point to AM being next army to get an update...
