No - they're in the Codex because you can summon them.

No. You can take them with Death Guard in a NURGLE detachment, but you will miss out of various abilities, and possible Stratagems if you don't have other detachments.

They are included in the Codex to make it easier for players wishing to summon them without having to buy the Daemons Codex.

As stated, you cannot because they lack the DEATH GUARD keyword.
