The Warp

This is ok but could be better. What is the LOC actually going to do here? He’s too slow to keep pace, especially with halfing his advance. If you drop him for a Plaguecaster you double your psychic output, and can still take AC on him.

I worry that those PBC’s are gonna be tagged and/or locked. For what you are trying to achieve with them you may be better with a squad of Blight Haulers. An excellent unit to ram in your opponent’s face, to take a battering whilst the rest of the force advances. Be careful not to over commit one or both of your princes. I find that I get diminishing returns from more than one, and of late been taking them without wings to stop tempting me from chucking them in. Having them arrive in your opponent’s lines T2/3 when stuff has been softened up makes them harder to deal with

Strike Force Serpentine: 3000
Kabal of the Annihilated Souls: 3000
Red Corsairs: 2500
Knights of Titan: 2000

I originally had the plague caster in. But thought that I might try the LoC. My thinking is, he is a bit slow, but might provide a counter charge unit if someone decided to take on the crawlers. They’d have to eat that overwatch, and know that he’d be coming right in to charge the next turn. The other option I considered is keeping him in deep strike, drop him where ever he might cause the most problems. As a single model the would be pretty easy to place I think.

I’m hesitant to go with three haulers. They are tough, I’m just not sure if they are tough enough. I have the models, and I do love the look of them and all the cool little abilities they have, but they have never done much work in putting out damage.

Regarding the prince’s. I find it’s interesting that your of the opinion that one is enough. I’ve been finding that I’ve wished I had a second tagging along. What’s behind your thinking on that?
