I have a battlewagon. I have a fragdrill. Uh! Bonebreaker!

Old meme aside I plan to make a battlewagon with deffroller by sticking the drill from the new GSC fragdrill on the front (with the needed gubbins to make it look like it's got a motor to provide toque). But that would add a few extra inches to the front. In tournament play do you think this would be a problem? Would you measure from the drill tip as you would with a deffrolla?

Naturally waiting till the drill comes out to actually start the conversions. Sizes may be off but I plan to use it/them in tournies and wonder if it would be considered non-legal.

As for tournament legal,it all depends on the TO, but more likely than not as long as you come to an agreement with your opponent as to where the actual measurement is (with drill or none) it should be fine.

I've been to some GTs with some oddly shaped conversions, and they all say what I said above.

If you're a keen converter, you could reduce the BW's length by about an inch by removing the front wheel and shortening the hull to match.

But before you start cutting anything, I'd wait to get the drill in hand - judging by the pics, the drill bit doesn't look much bigger than the standard deff-rolla anyway.

Another thought: use the entire drill and mount tracks on its side for a counts-as BW
