Subject: Compatibility of Space Marines and Stormcast Eternals

I've seen plenty of really good looking conversions on Google, but I am wondering if anyone has personal experience.
I'm working on a DW army using GK models mixed with Stormcasts.
The GK have the extra "jump" packs I need to make the Stormcasts into Vanguard vets
And the Stormcast Liberators have the shields I need for Stormshields.
Both kits seem to compliment each other in terms of wargear I need. The main bodies also seem very comparable in size.
But my main question (that I know soon enough once my Liberators arrive) is how compatible the kits are.
Specifically swapping shoulder pads, using the extra GK torso fronts on the Stormcast torsos, etc.
I feel confident I can make it work, but wanted to get some opinions/experiences

The problem with stormcast is the fact they tend to be primaris sized, so taller than old marines. But, I saw conversions of all the stuff you mentioned, so most of it is definitely doable.

I only did one, but it wasn't too hard to make it work. Zoom in for details: https://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/940445-.html

Very nice. Thanx for the feedback everyone! I'm still waiting on my Liberators to come in the mail, but I've already prepped all the regular Marine bits I plan to incorporate on them. IMO, a head swap and a power pack is enough to sell it as a Marine. After that, it's just a matter of giving it the correct wargear. One thing I am anticipating is a slight gap between the back plate and power/jump pack. I've cut a bit of sprue to fit in-between this gap and a bit of greenstuff should be all that's need to make it fit the ScE back plate. -

I got my Liberators in. Some things I'm discovering is that they are noticeably taller the regular marines. The torsos are not compatible at all. I was going to use the extra torso fronts I got form my GK kit, but I had to cut off quite a bit of the "stomach" attached to the legs to make it work for my WatchMaster. I was going to do this for all my Characters, but I think I'll just do my Librarian and keep my Captains with the Liberator torsos to avoid the torture Really just heads, arms and power packs are swappable

Totally, I used khrone blood bound AoS for Chaos Marine Kitbashes. Looks a hell of a lot better than the Old Chaos Marines.
The new Chaos Marines are ok but not enough. Not Tall enough. Not enough variety yet either.
Some Green stuff and some knowledge and you can Up scale sculpt then recast and bingo, proper size chaos marines.
But Storm Casts make proper scale regular marines, similar to Primaris in total size. Works best for Blood Angels as they already have the more fantasy esque armor themes.
